M2M Gateway

M2M Gateway is a complete set of software and hardware solution for third party devices and software to communicate over GPRS/EDGE networks. M2M Gateway consists of GPRS/EDGE communication terminals on remote sites and a central software module in case a virtual serial port emulation is required. M2M Gateway software that runs on central servers manages the connection with TCP/IP and communication and emulates virtual serial port for the third party applications that have serial communication capability to communicate with the remote devices using his infrastructure. What is more, the third party TCP/IP communication enbaled applications, can communicate to remote site terminals directly without the need to M2M Gateway software. Two decoupled M2M Gateway devices can be used to provide transparent communication between remote site devices without the need to a center. M2M Gateway supports various communication scenarios and hence there is no need to have a special service package from GSM providers.
